Gareth Bale is good enough for Brazil

This past week in Champions League action Welsh left winger and Tottenham Hotspur player Gareth Bale made a big statement for himself. He scored a hat-trick in a 4-3 loss to defending European champions Inter Milan. Not only did he score all three goals for Tottenham but the way he ran with the ball from center field all the way into the 18 yard box before emphatically scoring made him a household name in the soccer world. One could even argue an overnight success.

Watch highlights the Tottenham Inter Milan game. Gareth Bale’s goals come late in the game but they are absolute moments of brilliance.

Bale was once thought to be surplus to requirements at Tottenham and it was thanks to manager Harry Redknapp who deployed him a left-winger that his career has taken off.

Sometimes the manager sees something in your that the others haven’t. Maybe all it takes is playing a new position.

In Bale’s case he has not looked back since.
