One touch football

The English Premier League this year is proving to be one of the better ones of the past decade.  Traditionally, we have a better idea as to who will win the EPL by this point in the season but not this year.  Fortunately for Manchester United, they have a history under Sir Alex Ferguson to hit their stride just after the Christmas break and their recent game versus Sunderland was an indication of some great football to come.

With all due respect to Sunderland against Man Utd, they were injured and had a depleted squad.  However, Man Utd showed what beautiful football is all about.  Watch highlights of the game and take notice in the first twenty minutes where there was excellent one touch passing, movement off the ball, everyone working as a unit, fast pace, possession and quick counter attacks.

The top of the EPL couldn’t be any closer with four other team including Tottenham, Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea that are also in the title hunt. Each week is proving to be more and more exciting. Whether you’re a Man Utd fan or not, you have respect quality football. Watch the highlights below and take particular notice of the one touch football that absolutely cut apart the Sunderland defense.

The idea for Goalden is to help other soccer players of all ages improve the many different aspects of their game. We began coaching youth teams and watching youth soccer all over Ontario. We watched semi-professional and professional teams and noticed how far the game still has to develop here. From that, we decided we want to help others obtain the best information as early as possible in their soccer careers. We want to educate readers about the game of soccer and the fine details that are often overlooked by coaches in North America.
